Privacy policy
What HTML to Figma collects when you use the website and the plugin, why, and the choices you have.

HTML to Figma is run by [legal name: to be added] ("we", "us"). This policy covers the website at htmltofigma.in and the HTML to Figma plugin.
The short version
- Your HTML is converted inside the plugin on your computer. We do not receive it.
- We keep your account details and a record of each import.
- We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers.
What we collect
Account details
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password or anything else from your Google account.
Figma details
When you connect the plugin we receive your Figma user ID. We use it to give the free imports once per person.
Import records
For each import we record the time, whether it succeeded, how long it took, how many layers were created, the plugin version and, if it failed, an error code. We do not receive the HTML you import or the design it produces.
Messages you send us
If you contact support or report an issue, we keep your message, any files you attach, and the technical details sent with a report, such as the error ID and plugin version.
Technical data
Our servers record the IP address, browser type and the pages requested, as web servers do. We use this to keep the service secure and working.
Cookies and measurement
We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We count visits and a few key actions, such as sign-ups and successful imports, to understand how the product is used. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To run your account and count your imports.
- To prevent abuse, such as creating many accounts to get more free imports.
- To answer your questions and fix problems.
- To understand how the product is used and improve it.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the companies that help us run the service, and only what each one needs:
- Google, for sign-in.
- Supabase, which stores our database and runs sign-in.
- Our website hosting and email providers.
We may also share data when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Where it is kept
These providers may store data on servers outside your country, including outside India.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details and import records while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete them, except records we must keep by law.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you,
- correct data that is wrong,
- delete your account and its data, and
- answer a complaint about how we handled your data.
Write to support@htmltofigma.in from the email address of your account. If you are in India and are not satisfied with our answer, you may have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
HTML to Figma is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
We use encrypted connections, keep access to the data limited, and rely on established providers for sign-in. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update this page and its date. If a change is important, we will also tell you by email or in the plugin.
